The Years I Spent in the Ming Dynasty: Hongwu Era Part 1 Plot:

Lin Chuan, a modern history graduate student, was working on a paper about the Hongwu era when he suddenly traveled back to Nanjing in the 3rd year of Hongwu. He woke up as a minor official on the verge of execution for complicity. At a critical moment, he activated the "Ming Survival System," which lets him exchange modern knowledge to solve ancient problems. However, Zhu Yuanzhang suspects he’s a "demon" and sends the Jinyiwei to monitor him; Hu Weiyong wants to recruit him to take down Liu Bowen. While using the system to help Zhu eliminate locust plagues and repel the Northern Yuan, Lin also defuses court plots. He discovers he’s the "Fate Mender of Ming" chosen by Heaven—to prevent the dynasty from declining early due to weak national fate. When he helps Zhu win the remaining battle of Poyang Lake and thinks the crisis is over, the system warns: "The real enemy comes from the root of your time travel..."
