"Guide Me Through the Night" is a redemption-themed sweet short drama anthology linking ancient and modern tales. Each unit centers on a "person trapped in darkness" — In the ancient segment, Shen Zhaozhao, daughter of a massacred general family, is reborn on her wedding night, determined to avenge her family but accidentally stumbles into the cottage of Rong Heng, a reclusive healer. Is this man, who always uses a warm smile to shield her from harm, the light she missed in her past life or a trap set by fate? In the urban segment, Lin Xiaoman, an office worker framed at work, squats in a convenience store late at night eating bread, only to meet Lu Shiyan, the entrepreneurial senior who saved her three years ago. He hands her a hot coffee and says, "This time I’ll hold the umbrella for you," but why does the tiredness in his eyes look just like hers back then?
