The Fatal Three Cents Plot:

Su Xiaoyu, a night shift clerk at a convenience store, encounters a down-and-out man named Chen Mo in the early morning. Chen is three cents short for a bowl of instant noodles, and Su, soft-hearted, covers the difference. Unexpectedly, Chen falls to his death the next day, and the police find a note in his belongings that reads, "Three cents were my last ray of light." Consumed by guilt, Su starts investigating and discovers Chen was a programmer framed by his company for embezzlement—he hid a crucial USB drive with evidence of the company's money laundering to prove his innocence. But debt collectors mistakenly believe the USB drive is with Su, and danger creeps closer. When Su faces the threat, she realizes: those trivial three cents weren't just Chen's last hope—they've also become the key for her to unravel the truth, clear Chen's name, and find her own redemption.
