Mr. Gentle's Scoundrel Secret

Mr. Gentle's Scoundrel Secret Plot:

Gu Chengchuan, a law professor, is the much-praised "Mr. Gentle"—sharp in a suit, elegant in manner, even the neighborhood aunts say he's "kinder than a real son." But no one knows he changes into a black windbreaker at night and heads to a suburban underground casino—there, he's "Brother Chuan," a name that makes usury collectors tremble. Su Xiao, an intern reporter, infiltrates his law firm as an assistant to find her missing brother (who once borrowed money from the casino). She accidentally knocks off his cufflink while handing files—that cufflink is the last gift her brother sent before disappearing. When the gentle mask cracks, Su Xiao is torn: between exposing his "scoundrel" side and falling for his unintended tenderness. Gu Chengchuan never makes exceptions for anyone—until he sees Su Xiao crying over her brother's photo and panics. It turns out, in his "gentle" facade and "scoundrel" life, there's a soft spot he's dared not touch all along.
