The Invincible Village Guardian Plot:

Old Zhou, the familiar guardian of Xingfu Village, spends his days squatting at the village entrance with a small stool, often teased by villagers for being “too idle.” Until one day, outside developers bring thugs to forcibly demolish the century-old ancestral hall. As villagers panic, Old Zhou steps forward—revealing he’s a retired martial arts champion who once got stabbed protecting the village two decades ago. He subdues the thugs with soft Tai Chi moves and pulls out a family heirloom land deed proving the hall belongs to the collective. When a kid holds up an orange and yells, “Grandpa Zhou is Superman!”, Old Zhou touches his old scar and smiles: “I’m just guarding the root of our village.”
