Countryside Young Healer: The Village Flower's Secret Is Out

Countryside Young Healer: The Village Flower's Secret Is Out Plot:

Lin Chuan, a medical school graduate, gave up his urban hospital offer to open a clinic in his hometown. On his first day, he met Su Xiaotang, the village flower, buying painkillers—an old scar on her jade-like arm pricked his heart. Under his pressing, Su finally revealed: For three years, she's been sneaking to the broken temple on the mountain every night to care for a veteran—her late father's comrade, who has Alzheimer's and only recognizes her as "daughter". But villagers have long called the temple a "haunted house", so she hid this for fear of being accused of "immorality". Until Lin treated the old man's fever and they were caught by villagers—rumors of "the village flower living with an old man" spread like wildfire. Looking at Su's red-rimmed eyes, Lin held her hand tightly: "I'll help you bring the truth to light—and I want to keep this secret with you, for our village."
