Description
In the 1960s, geologist Fang Yuanshan is sent to a remote mountain village. Facing barren land and villagers' skepticism, he resolves to transform the wasteland with his expertise. With the help of village chief's daughter Lin Xiaomei, he leads irrigation projects and soil improvement, but meets resistance from conservatives.
