Don't Mess with the Taoist Nun Collecting Merit
Don't Mess with the Taoist Nun Collecting Merit Plot:
In the busy downtown, there’s a small Taoist temple called Qingyuan Guan. Inside lives Qingxuan, a cute Taoist nun in moon-white robes who sells peace talismans at the gate. No one knows—she’s not accumulating merit to become an immortal, but to save her senior brother Lin Zhao, who sacrificed himself to shield her from a thunder catastrophe years ago, his soul scattered. Until real estate developer Zhang Yuan arrives with excavators to demolish the temple for an office building, even ordering his men to smash her talismans stand. But strange things happen: the thug who smashed the stand suddenly donates his wallet to a stray animal shelter; Zhang Yuan’s luxury car “automatically” takes him to visit his old mother, whom he abandoned years ago; even his 10-year-old secret of leaving someone to die is revealed by Qingxuan’s “Merit Mirror.” When Zhang Yuan kneels at the temple gate with a confession letter, Qingxuan touches the gradually clear name “Lin Zhao” on her merit book and smiles—turns out the most powerful merit isn’t magic, but making people find their conscience.
