Love Hidden in the Fog Plot:

Su Xiao, a newly relocated illustrator in Fog City, has had an intense fear of thick fog since her mother went missing in a fog-related disaster during her childhood. Ever since she moved into an old alley apartment, every evening when fog descends, a mysterious man in a gray trench coat shows up at the neighborhood convenience store on time. He silently diverts reckless traffic for her, or leaves a cup of warm ginger tea before leaving quietly. Su Xiao is gradually drawn to this quiet man, until a fog-choked midnight, she sees him take off his mask, revealing a scar identical to the one on her mother’s old photo. It turns out he was the one who missed the evacuation to save her mother, then hid in Fog City guarding the mist for years. The love hidden in the fog is finally about to come to light at dawn.
