For three consecutive nights, he spots a figure in a faded security uniform standing by the abandoned 13th booth, which vanishes the moment he draws near. After questioning veteran staff, he learns a guard went missing without a trace during a Qingming night ten years prior, and the booth has been avoided ever since. On the eve of Qingming, Lin Mo finds his shift slip has been altered to the 13th post, and the surveillance footage captures his own back view perfectly matching the missing guard’s silhouette from a decade ago.
