The Moon Once Shone on the Young Minister
Su Wan, a modern social animal, travels to the Great Zhao Dynasty and becomes the most invisible illegitimate daughter of the prime minister. She accidentally binds to the "Young Minister Cultivation System"—her task is to help Gu Zhao, the once brilliant National Protector who’s been crushed into a "living dead" by imperial power, regain his youthful spirit as a spirited young man. To complete the task, she sneaks storybooks into Gu Zhao’s study, climbs walls at midnight to give him sugar-coated haws, and even holds a small flag to cheer "General is the most handsome!" while he practices swordplay. But the cold-faced general doesn’t play by the rules—he hides the storybooks under his pillow, secretly leaves osmanthus candy for her, and when she blows up the kitchen refining Qi-gathering pills, he silently wipes ash off her face and says, "Next time, I’ll watch over you." On the day the system announces "Task Completed," Gu Zhao holds Su Wan (who took a sword for him) with tearful eyes: "Who asked you to finish the task? All I want is you." It turns out the system is Gu Zhao’s unspoken obsession from his past life—in that year’s moonlight, he once told the time-traveling little girl, "I’ll marry you when I return victorious." Now, the moon shines again, the young minister is back, and this time it’s her turn to guard his youthful heart.
