From ER Doctor to Top Full-Time TCM Practitioner
Lin Chuan, the "Quick Hand" of the emergency department, fell into self-doubt after a rescue experience—the old Chinese medicine doctor he fought hard to save held his hand on his deathbed and said, "Some diseases, Western medicine can't reach the root." Seeing the pain of patients repeatedly hospitalized due to chronic diseases, Lin Chuan resolutely resigned from the emergency department to study traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) full-time, only to be mocked by colleagues: "You're turning to old antiques because you can't make it in Western medicine," dumped by his girlfriend: "You're crazy to give up a stable job," and even TCM clinics despised him: "Western medicine background isn't pure enough." However, he used acupuncture to wake a baby from anaphylactic shock, treated the hospital director's ten-year insomnia with Chinese herbs, and resolved a cancer patient's chemotherapy side effects with classic TCM prescriptions. Step by step, he broke through doubts and finally became the "strongest full-time TCM practitioner" praised by patients for "treating diseases Western medicine can't cure."
