Old Zhou, the chef of "Yanhuo Noodle Shop" at the alley entrance, regards the old soup stock passed down by his mother as the core of his life and will never allow any changes. His only son, Xiaoyu, insists on transforming the noodle shop into an AI smart store, claiming to catch the trend and make a fortune, leading to a fierce conflict between father and son. Xiaoyu accidentally finds his mother's old diary, and learns that his parents used the "clumsiness" of manual soup boiling to hide their care and tenderness for neighbors. 1960s: Daily Blind Box, Stocked with Supplies
Modern office worker Su Xiao accidentally travels back to the food-scarce rural area of the 1960s while staying up late to unbox blind boxes, binding to a "Daily Blind Box" system—unboxing instantly yields modern supplies! As soon as she wakes up, she finds the courtyard surrounded by villagers demanding debts, her grandma coughing violently in bed, and the original owner being criticized by the whole village for "being lazy and gluttonous". She musters courage to open the first box—surprisingly, a case of instant noodles! The aroma of cooked noodles attracts all the village kids, and also the scrutiny of Lin Mo, a cold-faced educated youth: "Where did you get this noodles?" Since then, Su Xiao starts her "unboxing rescue" routine: using a hot water bottle to cure grandma's old cold legs, compressed biscuits to help a neighbor's child through a food shortage, and even face cream to trade for eggs from the village aunt—but Lin Mo's gaze grows more intense. One night, he blocks her at the woodshed door and asks: "Is there a secret in your box?" Torn between the unspoken system truth and the approaching romance, Su Xiao holds the newly unboxed strawberry milk, panicking: this time travel seems to have unboxed a "sweet surprise" better than any supply!
