Lin Xiaoxia, a high school girl, accidentally catches her teacher writing students' names with a red pen. The next day, a student with a homophonic name encounters a strange accident: Zhou Tong falls into a wutong forest and gets injured; Wu Tao is washed away by the waves. She secretly takes the red pen to test and is tracked by monitor Su Ming. They find the red pen is for the teacher to make up for the obsession of writing his best friend's name wrong years ago, which caused the friend to disappear.
