This Villain Is Too Arrogant
Modern office worker Lin Wan stayed up late binging a xianxia drama, only to wake up as the show’s “most arrogant villainess” Lin Aoshuang—the self-destructive female side character who stole the male lead Gu Zhao’s engagement jade, crushed a young disciple’s spiritual root, and was about to be killed by the sect’s thunder punishment! Worse, she’s bonded to the “Villain Redemption System,” which demands three tasks in 7 days: Apologize to the bullied disciple, help Gu Zhao retrieve an ancient spiritual herb, and uncover the truth that the original Aoshuang once saved Gu Zhao—*or cease to exist!* Lin Wan panics: When she apologizes, the disciple cries and begs for mercy; when she searches for the herb, a sassy spirit beast chases her up a tree; even Gu Zhao coldly accuses her of “faking repentance.” But as she progresses, Lin Wan discovers the original Aoshuang’s “arrogance” was a disguise to protect Gu Zhao—and why is Gu Zhao’s gaze shifting from disgust to secret attraction?

Everyone in the Village Says I'm Worthless, But the Village Flower Loves Me Truly
Lin Xiaoman of Qingzhu Village is a notorious "good-for-nothing"—his parents died early, he can't even grow crops well, and he burns himself when mending a pot. The whole village is sure he'll be a bachelor forever. But Su Wanqing, the village flower, clings to him like glue: she helps him air his quilt before dawn, slips him candies saved for a month, and even throws herself into his arms and shouts "I only recognize Brother Xiaoman!" in public when the village bully's son comes to snatch her with betrothal gifts! The villagers scold Wanqing for being "blind," but only she knows: the back that carried her ten miles to the clinic on a rainy night, the tenderness of making a cotton nest for a stray cat in the corner of the yard, and the earnestness of secretly learning e-commerce to help the village sell bamboo weaving—these are the lights hidden under the "good-for-nothing" shell. When Xiaoman's bamboo weaving online store explodes with orders, and when the whole village crowds his door with orders, he holds Wanqing's hand and smiles: "They say I'm worthless, but you saw my worth long ago."
