Lin Chuan chased Su Xiaoman for three years and finally got her yes on his 99th proposal with a rose bouquet. But on their engagement day, Su Xiaoman burst in with her rich boyfriend, threw the diamond ring in his face and sneered: "How dare a poor loser marry me?" She tore up the contract and kicked him out. Heartbroken, Lin Chuan was drinking alone on the street when Xia Wanqing, the beauty CEO he saved years ago, showed up—she handed him a plane ticket: "Come with me abroad, I'll give you a chance to prove yourself." Two years later, Lin Chuan is now the CEO of a multinational group. He returns to China with Xia Wanqing for their grand wedding. At the hotel entrance, Su Xiaoman, in an old dress clutching the necklace Lin Chuan gave her, cries and begs for reconciliation. Lin Chuan smiles and shakes his wedding ring: "My love died the day you kicked me out." Then he holds Xia Wanqing's hand and walks into the auditorium, with flashlights and amazement behind him—once a loser, now he's at the peak of his life.
