Betrayed Love, Revenge Served
Lin Shen pushed open the door with a custom wedding anniversary cake, only to see Su Wan sitting on his childhood friend Lu Ming's lap—their hickeys still marked on their necks. The once "fairy-tale couple" crumbled in an instant, and his beloved became a thorn piercing his heart. He hid the wedding ring from the cake and secretly gathered evidence of their embezzlement of the company's assets. When Su Wan confidently asked for a divorce and half his property, Lin Shen pulled out a "cooperation contract": a ten-million-yuan debt signed by Lu Ming, with Su Wan as the guarantor. Pointing to the heavy rain outside, he said, "The warmth you stole, I want you to pay it back with your entire life." His "an eye for an eye" was making the betrayer beg him in the rain—just like how he once cried until dawn in the kitchen corner, holding the crumpled cake.
