Lin Wan, a daughter-in-law of a wealthy family, has been married to the Gu family for three years. She’s treated as a free nanny by her mother-in-law every day, while her husband Gu Jingshen remains cold and distant—even missing their wedding anniversary for overtime. Until she’s misdiagnosed with “advanced gastric cancer.” In despair, she unexpectedly activates the “Marriage Counterattack System”—a sassy little milk dog-voiced system that requires her to complete tasks like “make your mother-in-law apologize voluntarily” and “make your husband say ‘I love you’” in exchange for health and freedom. To survive, Lin Wan is forced to “fight back”: turning her mother-in-law’s刁难 into mission material, using the system’s “sassy one-liners” to leave her mother-in-law speechless; using the system’s tricks to test Gu Jingshen, only to discover that his coldness hides a deadly protection for her? When “mission counterattack” collides with “sincere concealment,” is this trapped marriage a escape or a new embrace?
