When I Wake Up, I’m My Mom
After staying up to finish her 18th project plan, Lin Xiaoman woke up in a panic—staring back from the mirror was her 48-year-old mom, Zhou Xiufen! Her first day as "Mom" hit three crises: a mean colleague was stealing Mom’s project to take credit, her grandma-in-law arrived with luggage vowing to "fix her life", and her 16-year-old brother slammed the door yelling, "You never get me". To make it worse, a system popped up:【Family Reconnection System activated—Fix Zhou Xiufen’s life regrets, or stay trapped forever!】 Lin Xiaoman had to use her "corporate slave skills" to fight back: she shut down the colleague with a razor-sharp PPT, turned her grandma-in-law into a 100k-follower influencer with "senior fashion transformation" videos, and bonded with her brother over memes and mobile games—turns out his rebellion was fear of disappointing her. But when she found Mom’s hidden ballet shoes (her abandoned dream) and Dad’s unopened pearl necklace (he’d remembered her birthday for 20 years), she realized: the "nagging middle-aged woman" was once a girl chasing light. When she helped Mom dance again on stage and fixed her parents’ 20-year-late date, the system said【Mission complete, returning soon】—but watching her family clap for Mom, Lin Xiaoman touched her "old" face and panicked: she didn’t want to go back to the her who never understood Mom…
