Midnight Haunted House

Lin Wan returns to her hometown on a rainy night to handle her grandmother's inheritance. As soon as she enters the village, a mad woman stops her, screaming, "That house devours people!" Dismissing it, she pushes open the old house's door—only to find a woman in red combing her hair with her back to her. When the woman turns around, Lin Wan freezes: that face is identical to hers! To make it worse, her daughter in the city suddenly calls via video, crying, "Mom, there's an aunt in white in my room!" A ghostly figure flashes behind the daughter on the screen. As Lin Wan digs deeper, a 20-year-old case of a red-clad girl falling to her death from her grandmother's house resurfaces. Gradually, she realizes: she might be the "returned one" the haunted house has been waiting for—for twenty years...
