I Own a Funeral Parlor Plot:

Lin Xiaoman runs "Guixu Funeral Parlor", left by her grandmother, living by the rule of "fulfilling the dead's unfulfilled wishes". Her peaceful life is shattered by a girl in a white dress, Su Wan, who bursts in late at night—insisting on buying the cheapest urn, claiming, "I'll drown in the moat at the alley tonight at twelve." Following the pearl hairband Su Wan left behind, Lin uncovers a shocking truth: Su Wan's brother was pushed into the river by school bullies three years ago while protecting her, and his body is still missing. Now the bullies are threatening Su Wan to "fake suicide" to take the blame. Using her grandmother's "soul-guiding bell", Lin finds the brother's bones and the bullies' criminal evidence. When Su Wan holds her brother's remains and sobs, "I want to live", the parlor's bronze bell rings suddenly—that's the signal her grandmother spoke of: "The living choose to stay, the dead can rest in peace."
