Midnight Omen

Midnight Omen Plot:

Lin Wei, an exhausted office worker boarding the last subway train at midnight, finds it eerily empty except for a pale woman smiling at her from the corner. As distorted station names blare from malfunctioning speakers and the view outside warps unnaturally, the woman whispers: "You were meant to die three days ago." Panic surges as the train plunges into a dark tunnel. Ghostly figures of former passengers flicker into view, and Lin Wei's employee ID photo morphs into a funeral portrait! When the next stop is announced as "River of Passing," the woman's icy hand grasps her wrist: "Your seat... is my urn." With doors hissing shut, the conductor turns with empty eyes: "Don't trust the announcements. This train... never had a driver."
