When I Start Being Myself Plot:

Su Qing spent years suppressing her true self to please others, until an accident pushed her to make a drastic change. She cut her long hair, quit her stable job, and began pursuing her long-abandoned dream of becoming a painter. However, she soon faces disapproval from her family, alienation from friends, and financial struggles. On her journey of self-reinvention, she meets Lin Yuan, an unconventional photographer who is both drawn to and challenged by her newfound authenticity.
