Two Chubbies' Weight Loss Love Story Plot:

Ma Shiyao, a socially anxious programmer, decides to lose weight after facing workplace discrimination due to his obesity. Liu Xiyu, a food blogger who turned to binge-eating after a breakup, joins a weight-loss clinic to regain her confidence. They clash over the last low-calorie chicken breast at a convenience store, only to be forced into a supervision team by their doctor. Sharing an apartment, Ma’s hidden potato chips are found by Liu, and Liu’s secretly ordered milk tea is poured out by Ma—they go from taunting each other, “You’ll never slim down,” to supporting each other during breathless late-night stair climbs, to Ma defending Liu from her mocking ex, and Liu making low-calorie “love porridge” for Ma. When they finally hit their weight goals, they realize: what’s more precious than being thin is someone who fights cravings and accepts imperfection with you—and love has already sprouted in the burn of calories.
