Grandpa, You Really Rebelled in the Underworld!
Grandpa, You Really Rebelled in the Underworld! Plot:
Ordinary office worker Lin Xiaoman was working overtime until midnight when she suddenly received a "help video" from her grandpa—ancient-clothed, hoe in hand, yelling, "Granddaughter, save me! I stole Yama's throne in the Underworld and now they're out to kill me!" Seconds later, her phone popped up an "Underworld Rebellion Assistance System," forcing her to travel to the netherworld. Lin, who wanted to slack off, was forced to help grandpa "consolidate power": revising Meng Po's soup recipe to attract ghosts, fixing the Judge's pen to prevent misjudgments, and even handling Yama's "revenge blind date" (Yama wanted to marry his daughter for an alliance). What's more absurd? Grandpa rebelled because "the Underworld's WiFi is terrible—I want to install 5G for my old comrades!" But as they bond, she uncovers grandpa's "rebellion" hides a regret for his late wife: he wanted to rebuild the old teahouse grandma loved, and grandma's soul is trapped in the River of Forgetfulness. Laughter wraps warmth, chaos holds touching twists.
