Dad, Mom Time-Traveled with the Washboard!
Dad, Mom Time-Traveled with the Washboard! Plot:
Lin Xiaoman, a senior high student, came home from school to find her parents in a "washboard war"—Mom held a washboard and forced Dad to kneel for three hours because he drank until midnight again. Suddenly, the old wall clock burst into blue light, and Mom vanished with the washboard, traveling back to the Northern Song Dynasty! Xiaoman and Dad panicked, only to receive Mom's WeChat moments: she squatted by the Bian River, holding the washboard and laughing, "This board can exchange for two catties of pork!" Worse still, Mom's subsequent posts were all about "Scholar Zhang helped me carry water" and "Boss Wang hired me as a laundry master". Dad yelled anxiously, "Your mom agreed to marry me with this washboard!" While Xiaoman searched for the time-travel switch, she watched Mom turn the washboard into a "Song Dynasty magic tool"—from a street stall to the imperial laundry room, almost becoming the emperor's "clothing advisor". Just as Mom was about to accept Scholar Zhang's jade pendant, Dad rushed in with another washboard: "Honey, I've kneeled enough!" Mom smiled and returned the pendant: "My guy loves drinking, but he peels oranges for me when he kneels." The family returned home with the washboard, unaware that the words "Happily Ever After" carved on its back—from Grandpa's wedding gift—was the key to time travel.
