Pages of a Teenage Heart Plot:

When Lin Xiaoman took over her grandmother's old bookstore, she found a yellowed notebook in the corner—it belonged to Xu Jiashu, a boy from the neighboring class in high school. The notebook was filled with his secret observations of Xiaoman: the flush on her ears when she helped him pick up his homework, the time he stood in the corridor for three times to read her published composition, and the unfinished sentence on the last page: “I’ll confess tomorrow.” But Xu Jiashu transferred suddenly the next day, and the secret was buried for ten years. Until one day, a man in a white shirt walked into the store and handed her a yellowed note: “I’ve been looking for this book full of teenage heart for ten years, because it’s my unsaid ‘I like you’.” He is Xu Jiashu, and Xiaoman doesn’t know that the ginkgo leaf she secretly put in the notebook back then is still lying quietly on the last page.
