Conscience of Grain: Weight of Heaven and Earth Plot:

Young grain bureau cadre Shen Wan volunteers to take charge of the run-down Lianhua Grain Station to fulfill her grandfather's dying wish of “guarding the hometown grain station”. On her first day, she catches a grain merchant passing off inferior grain as quality, and uncovers a 3,000-jin discrepancy between the inventory books and actual stock—behind this lies Uncle Zhou, the old station director who has treated her like a daughter. Torn between her grandfather's teaching that “the conscience of grain is the heaviest weight between heaven and earth” and Uncle Zhou's excuse that “compromise is necessary to keep the grain station alive”, Shen Wan must choose between conscience and personal affection, and uncover the truth behind the deficit. Little does she know, this “battle to guard the grain” has long become a test of “human heart”.
