She Was Destined to Be a Top Chef, But Became a Waitress
She Was Destined to Be a Top Chef, But Became a Waitress Plot:
Su Xiaotang, the only heir of a reclusive legendary chef, was supposed to inherit the title of 'Goddess of Cuisine' when she left the mountains. Instead, she snuck into 'Taste Mansion'—the city's most elite private restaurant—as a waitress, determined to find the 'ultimate human flavor' her master mentioned before vanishing. But her 'clumsiness' clashes with Gu Jingshen, the restaurant's boss with a 'taste obsession': this sarcastic man mocks her shaky hands while serving, yet can't look away from her wrist—where a silver bracelet, carved with secret recipes only the chef's heir knows, rests. When Gu Jingshen is forced to close the restaurant due to taste loss, Su Xiaotang finally picks up the wok. A simple stir-fried cabbage reveals her three years of knife practice calluses, her master's final words, and the familiar taste of Gu Jingshen's mother from his childhood. Turns out, 'Goddess of Cuisine' is never a lofty title—it's the warmth in the smoke and fire that makes people cry with a smile.
