Falling in Love When the Wind Rises Plot:

Lin Wan, a publishing editor, has an instinctive fear of wind—her mother disappeared in a typhoon when she was a kid, so she even needs half an hour to gather courage just to open a window. Until Cheng Feng, the author of the wind-themed photo book she’s handling, shows up. This man, who’s traveled the world to photograph wind, says, "Wind is a messenger that speaks," but Lin Wan thinks he’s crazy. Until one windy evening, Cheng Feng drags her to the rooftop, tells her to close her eyes and reach out: "Listen—there’s the rustle of the orange candy wrapper your mom gave you back then, in the wind." It turns out Cheng Feng met Lin Wan’s mother, who was searching for her daughter during that typhoon, and he’s kept the candy wrapper as a "token" ever since. When the secret in the wind is unveiled, the two people bound by the wind finally catch each other’s long-overdue heartbeat as the wind rises again.
