Hard to Meet, Harder to Part Plot:

Su Wan, a space data analyst, and Chen Mo, a deep-sea explorer, have been in love for five years but met less than ten times. When Su finally got a week off, she secretly bought a ticket to Sanya to surprise Chen—only to learn at the airport that his team had found a rare ore vein and needed to extend the mission. Determined, Su took a fishing boat to the exploration ship, but a storm kept her from boarding. They waved across the waves, and just as they said "I miss you" over the walkie-talkie, Su got an urgent call: a satellite malfunction required her immediate return or the next month’s launch would fail.
