Jade Beggar: The Undercover Heir Plot:

Beggar Lin Mo finds a jade pendant engraved with the character "Zhou" in a bridge hole. The next day, he is taken to the Zhou manor by the men of Zhou Hongchang, the richest man in town—holding a DNA report, the old man claims Lin is his illegitimate son who went missing twenty years ago. Zhou Mingyu, the eldest son who has plotted for a decade to seize the family fortune, is furious as his plan falls apart. He repeatedly sends his men to set traps: making Lin deliver "contraband", inciting reporters to expose Lin's beggar identity, and even sending killers at night to test him. Lin pretends to be timid and submissive, but he is actually an undercover cop—he has long known the pendant is a relic from his father, who was killed by Zhou Hongchang years ago, and this "father-son recognition" is just Zhou Hongchang's attempt to destroy evidence. When Zhou Mingyu presents "evidence" of Lin's undercover identity to force Zhou Hongchang to act, Lin has already handed over Zhou Hongchang's organized crime ledgers to the police.
