Miaomiao Saves Mom Plot:

Seven-year-old Miaomiao just started primary school. Her mom Lin Xia, a cultural relic restorer at the museum, has been staring at the old wooden chest left by her grandma lately. One late night, Miaomiao was woken by noises in the living room—she saw Mom hurrying out with the chest, leaving a note that read, "Listen to Grandma's song." The next day, Mom disappeared: her phone was off, her workplace said she had taken leave, and she even forgot to water her favorite green radish. Miaomiao found Grandma's nursery rhyme recording, and the line "The moon under the jujube tree opens doors" matched the crescent marks Mom often drew! Holding Mom's jade pendant, she followed Uncle Zhou, a courier, to the jujube grove in the old town, only to find Mom trapped by two strangers—turns out the chest held clues to the anti-Japanese war relics Grandma protected years ago, and the bad guys wanted to steal them! Miaomiao pretended to cry and fuss to distract the bad guys, used the pendant to reflect flashlight light to signal Uncle Zhou, and finally the police arrived. When Mom hugged her crying, Miaomiao held up the pendant and smiled: "Mom taught me, we must guard Grandma's things well."
