Alas, Alas, Why Can't I Meet You? Plot:
Su Wan, an archaeology student, hears a sigh "Alas, why can't I meet you" from the Northern Song painting *Zhao Xue Tu* (The Painting of Zhao's Redemption) while restoring it. Su Wan tries her best to save him, only to learn that Xie Zhao has been waiting for her for three lifetimes: a thousand years ago, he died to protect her and sealed his memories in the painting with the jade pendant, just to meet her again in this life. But when they finally recognize each other, Gu Mingyuan, a modern cultural relics doctor with the same jade pendant, appears in the museum. Are the bonds of the three "Xie Zhao" a past-life obsession or a present-life redemption?
