Torn Spring Tide Plot:

Lin Xiaoman, an ancient book restorer, has kept her grandmother’s old bookstore for seven years—until Gu Chaosheng, a returning architect, arrives with a tattered copy of *Collected Poems of Spring River*. Inside is the note she gave him years ago: “Let’s watch the Qiantang Tide after the college entrance exam.” It turns out Gu didn’t abandon her; he was forced to study abroad by his father, who used his grandma’s illness as leverage. The explanation letter he left was hidden in the bookstore’s ancient book cabinet by Xiaoman’s grandma. Now, with the old book resurfacing, they face seven years of lingering doubts, the grandma’s regret, and a damaged rubbing of *Moonlit Night on the Spring River*. Can they piece together the “spring tide” torn apart by time, and finally say the unspoken “I never left” from that year?
