Shining in Your Summer Night Plot:

Screenwriter Lin Xiaoman returns to her coastal hometown for inspiration. While sorting out her grandma's old house, she finds a diary filled with her name—written by Chen Xingye, the “untouchable school heartthrob” she secretly liked in high school. It turns out Chen also had a crush on her back then, but didn’t confess due to a misunderstanding that she was transferring schools. Later, he went to Beijing to study astronomy and comes back every summer night to photograph the seaside stars, saving a “personal star trail” for her. Tonight, Xiaoman walks to the beach with the diary and runs into Chen setting up his telescope. The wind flips the diary pages; when he looks up, moonlight falls on their clasped hands—those unsaid “I like yous” finally light up with the stars, ten years later in this summer night.
