Legend of Quantum Lake Plot:

Lin Xiaoman, an archaeology student, travels to Quantum Lake—said to connect parallel universes—in search of her missing grandfather. There, she meets Gu Chuan, a mysterious boy who has guarded the lake for centuries—his face is identical to the "savior" in her grandfather's diary. Gu Chuan warns her that the lake's "time echo" devours those with deep obsessions, but Xiaoman discovers her grandfather's disappearance is tied to Gu Chuan's unfulfilled "mission to return": Gu Chuan was the boy her grandfather saved from a parallel world years ago, and her grandfather got trapped in a time rift while helping him go home. As the full moon approaches and the lake nears closure, Xiaoman must choose between saving her grandfather or sending Gu Chuan back. What she doesn't know is that Gu Chuan has already wavered in his resolve to leave—all because of her.
