Young Taoist Goes Down the Mountain and Accidentally Saves a Tycoon's Grandson
Young Taoist Goes Down the Mountain and Accidentally Saves a Tycoon's Grandson Plot:
18-year-old Yuan Qing, a young Taoist who has lived in a mountain temple for over a decade, goes down the mountain for the first time to buy sesame oil. There, he stumbles upon a group of thugs beating up Gu Sichen—the recently returned heir to the Gu Group, who was hunted down by his stepmother for refusing a forced marriage. Using his master's acupoint technique, Yuan Qing stops the thugs and carries the injured Gu Sichen back to the temple to heal. But when Gu Sichen wakes up, he not only refuses to leave but also declares, "You saved my life; I belong to you now!" On one side are the temple's rules against "personal attachments," and on the other is the tycoon's grandson's relentless attempts to repay the favor: gifting a golden Buddha, bringing crates of sesame oil, and even offering to rebuild the temple. Yuan Qing is driven to distraction, but when he sees the dependence in Gu Sichen's eyes, he can't help but soften—maybe this "trouble" isn't so bad after all?
