Promise You the Return of Midsummer Plot:

Five years ago, on a midsummer morning, Lin Xiaoman and Lu Shiyan planned to watch the dawn sea, but her boyfriend vanished without a trace, leaving only a silver ring engraved with "Return in Midsummer". Every year since, she's waited at the old alley's ice jelly stall—their first meeting place—when the cicadas sing.
