First Taste of Sweetness
First Taste of Sweetness Plot:
Food review blogger Lin Xiaoman goes undercover as an intern at the top catering group "Jiangshan Cuisine" to uncover clues about the "disappeared old alley sugar shop," only to feud with CEO Jiang Jingshen over taste—she mocks his high-end dishes for "lacking human warmth," while he teases her "street-level palate" for not understanding elegance. But when Jiang discovers the sugar shop Xiaoman is searching for was his late mother’s lifelong work, and the frosting recipe in her hand is exactly the "healing code" his mother left him, their bickering quietly shifts to "mutual testing": he secretly likes her review videos, she stealthily repairs his mother’s old apron. When Xiaoman is framed by competitors during her investigation, Jiang finally drops his "cold CEO" facade, hugs her, and rushes into the rain shouting, "My 'jiangshan' (kingdom) was never the catering empire—it’s the courage to taste all the worldly warmth with you." His "coldness" was guarding his mother’s memories, her "exploration of new tastes" was seeking the sweetness of her childhood. This "first taste" turns out to be a sweet love story of mutual redemption.
