Lin Chuan, a descendant of a hermit mystic clan, repaid his childhood friend Gou Sheng (Chen Mo) for saving his life by using mystic arts to alter his fate—turning him from a poor construction worker into a top-tier film emperor. Lin Chuan couldn’t take it anymore and decided to take back everything he gave. That night, all of Chen Mo’s resources vanished—endorsements were canceled, fans left, and the next day he woke up back in the construction dorm, with the old jacket embroidered with “Gou Sheng” on his bed. Lin Chuan stood downstairs, smiling, and said: “You saved my life once, so I gave you ten years of glory; now you’ve ruined everything for me, so I’ll take back all your fortune—we’re even now, right?”
