Sand in Palms, Scar in Heart: Traversing Mountains and Rivers, Yet Hard to Find You
Sand in Palms, Scar in Heart: Traversing Mountains and Rivers, Yet Hard to Find You Plot:
Three years ago, General Gu Zhao returned triumphantly, only to find a box of stream sand left by his fiancée Su Wan—the "engagement token" she'd collected by Qingqiu Stream for half the night, saying, "As long as the sand exists, I do too." Since then, he's laid down his arms and traveled the land: the northern desert wind swept away sand grains, southern rain softened his obsession, even his palm calluses wore into lines that catch sand. Until he met Ah Ruan, a flower girl under a peach tree in a southwest town—her palm's cinnabar mole was identical to what Su Wan once drew on his hand. Gu Zhao poured the last sand into her palm; Ah Ruan burst into tears, and the sand at her fingertips formed images: her taking a poison arrow for him, a mysterious man's order "To live, forget him," and three years of her hiding in the town, drawing the mole daily... When the sand runs out, will your memory return?
