The Moon Forgets the Old Path Home Plot:

Famous fashion designer Lin Wan returns to her hometown ancient town after ten years for her grandmother's funeral. While sorting out the old house, she meets Shen Yanqing, who runs an old bookstore—her high school sweetheart with whom she once promised to “walk the way home together” under the osmanthus tree. But now, Shen Yanqing acts like a stranger, even saying “I’ve never seen you before.” In her grandmother’s osmanthus cake jar, Lin Wan finds a yellowed letter: back then, Shen Yanqing took the blame for Lin Wan’s plagiarized design draft to protect her, had to leave town, and hid the truth to not ruin her future. Later, Lin Wan discovers a sketchbook locked in a glass cabinet in Shen Yanqing’s store—every page is her face from high school. It turns out the moon never forgot the old lovers; it’s just the old lovers dared not mention the old path. When the truth comes out, can the two separated by time find their “old way home” again?
