Suffocating Summer Plot:

In the sweltering heat of graduation season, Su Xia returns to the coastal town to sort out her grandmother's old house, only to run into Lin Shen—her ex-boyfriend who vanished without a trace three years ago. His sudden disappearance had left her trapped in self-doubt: “Am I not good enough?” To her shock, a wooden box in the grandmother's attic holds a diary filled with Lin Shen's name and an unsent photo of them by the sea. Lin Shen's reappearance carries danger: years ago, he helped Su Xia pay off her grandmother's unknown debt, only to be threatened by creditors: “Dare to contact her, and she'll disappear.” Now the creditors are after them, demanding the old house as repayment. Amidst the hot wind, they evade the pursuers while unraveling past misunderstandings, and the last line of the grandmother's diary becomes the key to untangling everything: “That boy loves you more than you can imagine.”
