The "Jade King" turns out to be a stone tablet carved with "Protect the River" by her father. Gu Chuan helps Xiaoman take down Zhou Qiang, and as they protect the riverbed, they fall in love. In the end, Xiaoman donates the riverbed as an ecological reserve, realizing her father's real wish was never to find jade, but to protect the Hetian River that nurtured generations of jade farmers.
