Mutual Descent

Mutual Descent Plot:

Su Wan, a narcotics officer, disguises herself as Shen Li—her "deceased" old love from five years ago—to infiltrate a transnational drug cartel led by Gu Chengchuan, the adopted son of a drug lord. As she meticulously gathers evidence, she discovers Gu has long seen through her identity: he hid the truth about her past "death" and "drew her into the game" in his own way—either bring down the cartel together, or... fall into this life-or-death gamble of "old love." When their guns are pointed at each other, they realize "mutual descent" is never about corruption; it’s the courage to pull each other toward the light, even when they know they’re walking into damnation.
