The Summer That Never Ends Plot:

Lin Xiaoman, who failed the campus recruitment, finds her old high school phone on a rainy night and stumbles upon an unsent confession text from her deskmate Lu Zhao: "The summer isn’t over yet—I want to watch the last fireworks with you." A thunderclap later, she wakes up in the summer of 2018: the blue ribbon she tied on the camphor tree is still there, Lu Zhao is standing at the stairwell with a basketball, his uniform stained with cola, smiling and asking her to watch fireworks. But this time, she notices a chemotherapy notice in his pocket—he’d hidden his serious illness back then, too scared to confess. Given a second chance, how will Xiaoman make Lu Zhao know that her feelings were never late, in this endless summer?
