Sharing the Bed with Him Plot:

Lin Xiaoman, a workplace drudge, is forced to share an apartment with mysterious veterinarian Gu Shiyan to fund her mother’s surgery. They agree to “stay out of each other’s way,” but Gu always leaves a warm light for her at night, secretly replaces her expired stomach medicine, and even waits outside her company in the rain with a blanket. Just as Lin lets her guard down, she discovers this “strange roommate” is the little boy she saved from a car accident in high school—he really remembered her casual line “Wait till I grow up to protect you” for ten years, and the co-rental was his planned “reunion trap.”
