Only Echoes Linger in the Empty City Plot:

Famous violinist Lin Wan falls into a creative slump after a stage accident. When she receives a call from an old friend, she returns to her hometown Yun County, now an empty city due to new town development. Following her memories, she finds the old piano room she shared with her first love Xu Mo, and discovers a dusty recorder playing the familiar "Moonlight"—Xu Mo's unfinished confession song from years ago. It turns out Xu Mo didn't meet her in Beijing seven years ago not because he cheated, but because he had late-stage leukemia and hid it to avoid burdening her. On his deathbed, he recorded the song and asked their friend to wait for her return. Holding the recorder in the empty piano room, Lin Wan listens to the echoes reverberating through the city. The deep love buried by misunderstanding finally surfaces, but the love she lost only leaves echoes lingering in the empty city.
