Late Repentance

Late Repentance Plot:

Lin Shen, a top lawyer with a decade-long undefeated record, is haunted by a teenage mistake: at 18, he falsely accused his neighbor Su Xiao of theft based on rumors, leading to her expulsion, her mother’s sudden death, and Su Xiao’s disappearance. Ten years later, Lin takes on a custody case where the defendant is Su Xiao’s younger sister—and the terminally ill Su Xiao is the unseen mastermind. When Lin kneels by her bed with the “stolen money” (actually Su Xiao’s savings for her mother’s medical bills), Su Xiao opens her eyes and says: “You’re finally here, but what I’ve been waiting for isn’t your apology.”
